I see you and you see me, and we do this dance.

Dancing is what I do these days. Not like the old days but new. Experienced and wary, practiced and wily.

I am open to a lot of things these days. A door ajar on a weather-worn barn.

On less serious fronts, WTF. Is with. The fashion industry. Even now, bootcamped down, I face nothing but 10% "fits-good" in the stores.

Good enough isn't good enough.

I like your new life motto. Rawks sawks. The fashion industry is vapid and self-absorbed. They do not make real clothes for real people. I'll take my curvaceous form over stick-thin anyday. I've come to that acceptance after realizing that I'm mid-40s and having the waist-hip ratio perfection thing ain't a happening thing anymore, my bod's done with the baby-bearing goodness... genes rule the jeans, as it were.

And I *love* the photo. Question: did you go in the barn? I woulda, my curious cat self couldn't resist...

The fashion industry doesn't "get" fits good. They only know what sells and how to make the most money. I've noticed that any clothing company that makes clothes I'm comfortable in will go out of business by the time I need clothes again.

Dancing, dancing, dancing. Wary and wily are good when dancing, I think. They can hopefully serve as protection from unexpected falls.

I gave up on the fashion industry long before I even realized I had. So, maybe at the age of 7? Not sure. I hate buying clothes. I wonder if my smilies work..

The fit thing.. it's the boobs. They thwart everything. They're a shirt size bigger than the waist. And it's the fact that I'm a lilliputian. Maybe I should Boys Don't Cry my boobs with an Ace bandage. That'd be hot.
